Alpha course begins well…and continues on Fridays

The first session of the Alpha course, for all interested in Christianity, began very well on October 7th, with discussions of faith and struggles with faith.  We shared a meal, watched a short DVD and then divided into two groups for discussions stimulated by questions.

Further meetings on Fridays in Weobley at 6 pm will follow a similar format.  But it is not necessary to bring food.  It will be provided.

Alpha course, for all interested in Christianity — begins October 7th

ALPHA BEGINS THIS COMING FRIDAY, Oct. 7th. 6.00 pm, at St Thomas’s in Weobley. Open to all interested in the Christian faith, whether Christian or not.

The aim is to have a session each Friday for 10 weeks in which DVDs will help to stimulate discussion. It promises to be very engaging.  If you have doubts then at least come to the first session: you may be surprised.  No previous knowledge needed.   Bring some food to share.  Bring an enquiring friend.   Bring an enquiring mind.
